Stunning mouse lemur print by Louise Miller

Limited Edition Mouse Lemur Prints!

To help us fundraise for Phase II of Ala, our reforestation project targeting endangered lemurs in Sainte Luce, we have 50 limited edition, framed prints to give away!

Painted by Louise Miller, an artist and animator who has worked with the likes of Cartoon Network, EA Games and Disney, these beautiful prints feature the Anosy Mouse Lemur, Microcebus tanosi, an Endangered species endemic to the region, and one of the species targeted by the project.

In Phase II, we are looking to increase the habitat size of the forest corridors, empower the community by teaching them forest management skills, and trial novel forest protection measures.

To receive one of these stunning prints, donate £100 or set up a monthly donation of £10 or more to Project Ala.

SEED Madagascar would like to thank Louise, Kellmatt printers and Photo Frames & Art for their support.

We are working towards sustainable, environment, education and development goals across southeast Madagascar.

What makes us different?

We're a small organisation focused on just one region of one country.
We don't have fancy offices or high-paid staff, we spend more money on our projects.
We work with local people to find sustainable solutions.

Sharks, insects, and crops: How fighting food insecurity benefits both communities and biodiversity

Over 48 days, data collectors in Sainte Luce and Elodrato have recorded 233 individual elasmobranchs landed - 140 sharks and 93 rays! This work funded by the Darwin Initiative is an important part of understanding the importance of the shark and ray fishery to local communities. But what does this have to do with SEED's crops and Sakondry work? Find out in this blog post.
