Specialist placements are for people who are willing to take on more responsibility and potentially make a longer term commitment to SEED Madagascar either in Madagascar or the UK.
Due to the large number of applications SEED positions attract, we regret that we are unable to acknowledge receipt of applications and are only able to contact shortlisted candidates. If you do not hear from the hiring manager within three weeks of your application, unfortunately it has been unsuccessful.
In order to undertake a specialist placement it is of course a prerequisite that you have the necessary skills. It would also be preferable to have had some previous experience of Madagascar, or another developing country. For the most part specialists are volunteers who are expected to cover all personal costs associated with their work, unless funding has already been allocated for the specific role.
We also publish our available positions on Environment Jobs.
SEED Madagascar has just a few paid staff in our small London office. We are always happy to find willing and able helpers for a multitude of tasks from fundraising to administration and marketing. We are particularly keen to welcome volunteers who can make a commitment of at least one day a week.
Please contact us on email@example.com if you are interested in volunteering your time for SEED Madagascar.
