As #WorldBreastfeedingWeek comes to an end, SEED would like to thank the James Tudor Foundation for their invaluable support on Project Votsira!
Colostrum is the highly nutritious milk produced into the early days of breastfeeding, full of vital nutrients and antibodies. 40% of mothers believed colostrum gave babies diarrhoea before they took part in the Votsira child health course.
Following the first round of the course, all mothers reported giving their new-born colostrum, ensuring infants do not miss out on it's amazing benefits! Find out more about Project Votsira here: madagascar.co.uk/projects/community-health/votsira
