Imagine if only half your children could go to school
Here in Anosy, those are choices that some families have to make, with 51% of 6-10 year olds never having attended school.
Shortages of resources, teachers, basic facilities and classrooms means that many children are forced to drop out of school or are unable to attend school in the first place. SEED's Project Sekoly, a word meaning 'school' in Malagasy, works on improving and building classrooms, latrines and wells for schools in the Anosy region to support families in being able to send their children to a local primary, middle or high school.
Discover more about this project by visiting our website, making a donation to our school building efforts or even joining our construction volunteer programme for two to ten weeks! Whichever way you can help will create a brighter future for the children of Anosy.
