Forests in Sainte Luce are incredibly biodiverse and unique, but only 10% of original littoral forest still exists in Madgascar! Two out of the four lemur species that live in Sainte Luce’s littoral forests are Endangered and deforestation and habitat fragmentation are increasing their risk of extinction.

SEED’s Conservation Research Programme is starting a new project, connecting isolated patches of forest through habitat corridors, increasing habitat available for the endangered lemurs!
