Give a birthday gift this year...
Birthdays are a great opportunity for giving and here at SEED we’re asking for your help on this special day.
It’s so easy to set up a Facebook Birthday Fundraiser, yet the impact they make can be huge. Previous birthday fundraisers have brought in hundreds of pounds within a matter of weeks to support the communities SEED works with, raising £180 is enough to build school benches and desks for a whole classroom, or a tonne of rice to a community threatened by food insecurity costs around £600.
Simply follow the instructions below, copy the text we’ve provided, choose and image and you’re good to go!
- Head over to Facebook and select the ‘Fundraisers’ tab on the left
- Click ‘Select nonprofit’ and type ‘SEED Madagascar’
- Type how much you would like to raise and when the fundraiser should end
- Name your birthday fundraiser… something as simple as ‘My birthday fundraiser’ usually works well
- You’ll then be asked to explain what you’re raising money for. You can use the copy we’ve written below, or write something a bit more personal
- And finally… choose an image to go with your campaign. We’ve included some options or you can choose to upload your own!
