This Christmas it's
'Let it Grow, Let it Grow, Let it Grow' we're singing!

2025 has been a difficult year for many in Madagascar. Unprecedented dry weather, wildfires, and cyclones have made a fragile situation worse and the threat of hunger and food insecurity has risen exponentially.

Save the Children warns that cases of malnutrition among children under five are expected to increase by a shocking 54% as we head into 2026, more than double earlier predictions.

Our 2025 Christmas Appeal is designed with these children and their families in mind. It takes a joined-up approach to tackle three major challenges facing communities in southern Madagascar: health, environment, and food access, all through a single fundraiser. This means one donation will have triple the impact this festive season, and even better, all donations made between 2nd and 9th December will be matched at no extra cost.

The project promises to...

Strengthen Food Security
Expand agroforestry sites at three rural schools to grow over 15,800 crops, providing 53,000 nutritious vegetable portions a year for students, easing pressure on families, and strengthening food security in their communities.

Improve Nutrition Knowledge
Train parents and teachers in food preparation, hygiene, and crop use, ensuring meals preserve maximum nutritional value and contribute to more diverse, colorful diets.

Build Climate Resilience
Support 1,000 direct participants and up to 10,000 more indirectly in adopting sustainable practices that reduce reliance on slash-and-burn farming, restore soil fertility, and strengthen resilience against droughts, floods, and cyclones.
